- is the Slavonic god of water. Light face woman -river, hums her murmur cheerful
song. She gives to drink an tired people, she fall down by a rain to the cornfields.
Her name mean "water mother" ("da"- "warter", "nenia"- "mothr") and it remain
in many names of rivers. For example: "Dnepr", "Danapris", "Dnestr", "Dunay",
"Dvina", "Doniets" and many other. Special honors to this god was at the time
of bathing holydays.
