Water-spirit
- the spirit of rivers and lakes. He is always naked, in black scale, wrapped
in ooze with long green hair and beard. He has paws with webs instead of hands.
His tail is that of a fish. His eyes blaze like red-hot coals. He usually sits
on a snag and makes load sounds in water. When he s angry, he tears dams, undermines
mills and drags people and animals into the water.
